I specialize in working with children (and/or their parents) up to about 12 years of age (depending on the context, as I do certainly see children who are older) across a variety of diagnoses and behavior issues. My two most specialized areas of passion and ability are in treating childhood anxiety disorders (such as panic disorder and phobias) and providing parent support for treatment of childhood behavior issues, though I have significant training in a variety of other disorders as well.
Approach & Values
Once I've built a relationship and foundation of knowledge, I like to provide structured hands-on tools that children or parents can use right now. I feel so grateful every time a family allows me into their life to provide a glimpse of where they need support, and I take this job very seriously.
